About
Chris Burton is an established elite rider on the Australian Eventing circuit.
Highlights of his career include winning the 4* at the Australian International 3de in Adelaide on “Newsprint” in 2008, being placed 2nd again in this event in 2010. He won the Sydney World Cup Qualifier on “Holstein Park Leilani” in 2010 and was placed 2nd in the 2011 Kihikihi World Cup event in New Zealand. He also represented Australia with this mare at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky in 2010.
He has been the recipient of the NSW Eventing rider of the Year in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010. He was also selected the Australian Eventer Rider of the Year in 2005 and was awarded the Anna Savage Medal for Australian Best and Fairest rider in 2008.
He has spent time in the UK in 2004 competing at Badminton and Burghly CCI4* events. He is now moving over to the UK with a talented team of horses competing at 2* , 3* and 4* level to gain some additional overseas experience in the lead up to the Olympic Games in 2012.
Whilst based in the Dorset area – Chris is able to offer the following services:
