Chris Burton Eventing is teaming up with the wonderful international animal welfare organisation, The Brooke, and hosting an evening at the yard to help raise money for improving the lives of working horses, donkey’s and mules in some of the world’s poorest communities.
The Brooke provides treatment, training and programmes around animal health and wellbeing, operating across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
The Brooke works directly and through partners to do whatever will most improve the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules through the alleviation of existing suffering and the development of equine welfare practices and facilities to prevent and reduce suffering in the future.Their goal is to increase the number of animals they help to two million by 2016. This will also benefit more than eight million people who depend on these animals for their livelihood.
The event will take place on the evening of 25th September. More details will be provided closer to the date. It will be a really fun evening with drinks, canapes, presentations and (weather permitting) a jumping demonstration from Chris.
We would love it if you could come along and support this wonderful cause.
